1.) Quality Assurance Coordinator III

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Contract

Main Functions

  • Responsible to implement Project Quality Plan in assigned scope of work
  • Provide training for key staff
  • • Ensure execution of Surveillance Programs through development of Surveillance Plans and through ongoing monitoring and auditing
  • Report quality issues, status, metrics and company’s learned to Project Management
  • Manage efforts to resolve quality issues and make improvements to quality activities
  • May take on the role of Procurement Quality Coordinator (PQC) or Site Quality Coordinator (SQC) until they are assigned

Task and Responsibilities

  • Promote Quality awareness throughout the project
  • Ensure establishment and proper implementation of adequate control processes within the subproject
  • Project Team (PT), as stipulated in the Project Plan and the Project Quality Plan
  • Provide oversight of Contractor’s implementation of their Quality program and compliance with project requirements
  • Approve Contractor’s Quality organization and monitor performance of key Quality Assurance (QA) staff
  • Review Contractor’s standard contract and purchase order quality requirements language
  • Review and approve Contractor’s Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Perform scheduled periodic assessments of the Contractor’s activities in order to evaluate and monitor implementation of Contractor’s Quality Management systems
  • Participate in qualification of proposed Subcontractors or Suppliers
  • Ensure Contractor’s surveillance activities are commensurate with Criticality Ratings
  • Review Contractor’s quality audit schedule, monitor Contractor’s audit program, and participate in selected audits
  • Review Quality Plan of Suppliers of critical equipment / material in conjunction with Procurement Quality Coordinator (PQC)
  • Ensure Contractor is performing quality reporting per the contract
  • Monitor and audit implementation of PT Procurement and Construction Surveillance Programs
  • Provide Quality training as required
  • Develop and coordinate subproject Audit Schedule, conduct site audits within sub-projects and assist Quality Manager in conduct of project audits, as needed
  • Review metrics from engineering, procurement, and construction sites to identify and assist in resolution of issues
  • Assist function in selection of SQC positions and assist Sites in selection of inspectors
  • Steward the Procurement and Construction Surveillance Programs until the respective coordinator (i.e., PQC, SQC) is assigned
  • Review and assist in development of Quality portion of site close-out reports as necessary
  • Advise and inform Project Manager and Quality Manager on quality issues, status and metrics
  • Ensure best practices and company’s lessons learned are implemented and that new company’s learned are identified and distributed as required

Skills and Qualification

  • Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering or Science preferred
  • Experience in quality assurance/control of field construction and completions activities
  • Technical discipline certifications commensurate with work experience
  • Willing and able to business travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites to provide various levels of support
  • Experience in responsible roles in Quality Management and coordination of quality activities for projects of various facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry
  • Experience in management of project quality systems
  • Extensive experience with auditing quality management systems
  • Worldwide experience with Contractors and Suppliers involved in production facilities projects

2.) Materials Coordinator III

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Contract

Main Function

  • The Materials Coordinator will perform and or manage all of the activities necessary to enable effective end-to-end coordination of materials in support of Projects.
  • Acts as the interface between the business unit and procurement.
  • Actively interacts with planning, inventory, vendors, buyers and maintenance on a daily basis by providing customer support, effective & timely communication, alignment with business practices/controls and a high level of materials and services fulfillment for site maintenance activities.

Task and Responsibilities
Level I:

  • Verify materials availability for all scheduled outage/planned and emergent work, provide supply chain input into Plant/Mine equipment maintenance strategies where requested
  • Coordinate effective and efficient logistics requirements for Routine and Shutdown work
  • Consult with Procurement, OEM and vendors to develop best practices, procedures and standards with respect to materials availability
  • Provide frequent updates on material availability to required parties (i.e., business, supply chain) and Lead in root cause analysis for failed supply chain processes
  • Identify opportunities to consume Business Line Materials and destock inventory (utilize stock on hand)
  • Influence B/L to select materials on hand or from preferred vendors
  • Utilize proper material code with an agreement supplier
  • Utilize proper material code with a non-agreement supplier
  • Working in the Planner Cockpit (SAP PM rather than MM Module)
  • Responsible for P2P recycle, identifying root causes, and driving resolutions
  • Coordinate with logistics coordinator for timely material delivery
  • Timely requisitions for break ins
  • MDG requester for master data changes and improvements
  • Provide guidance and assistance to the requester and supplier for getting a Vendor Master record created in SAP
  • Identify SAP data issues

Level II:

  • Provide input on a risk-based equipment spares stock that optimizes reliability versus cost
  • Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with supporting departments, promote a continuous improvement mind set
  • Assist with returning parts to stock and/or vendor for credit, and core management within the mining industry
  • Assist the business in executing system transactions and coordination of the logistics for repair and return stock materials

Level III:

  • Identify opportunities for material master creation to reduce free texting for recurring material orders
  • Assist in the management of equipment spare parts lists
  • Participate/lead risk assessments and hazard observations
  • Provide support to business and planning organization by verifying that site requirements for noncore services vendors are addressed before vendor arrives at site (i.e. safety training, travel and room accommodations, vehicle pass)

Skills and Qualification

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree required with 10 – 25 years experience

Job Summary

  • Operate equipment and wells by applying operating and safety procedures and guidelines to meet daily operational plan, reduce equipment failure and efficient resources administration

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to implement on daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental and security
  • Active participation on daily toolbox meetings and regular, reported safety meetings
  • Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions by the continuoussurveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient and safe operational conditions

Main Functions

  • The Contracting Management Advisor is a technical leader who serves as an expert in contract planning, development, and administration, or materials management matters.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Participate in pre-qualification and contractor selection
  • Liaise with Procurement to ensure required Contract Documents are in place for Deep water drilling, completions, workovers and well interventions
  • Participate in contract handover between Procurement and Business Line
  • Initiate and Facilitate contract kick-off meeting with Contractor

  • Contract Planning:

    • Support the organization in review and endorsement of proposed bid slate
    • Ensure that bid review plans incorporate best practices and apply the most weight to critical success / failure criteria

  • Contract Administration:

    • Serve as a trainer in contracting sponsored courses (Contract Planning, Development and Administration (CPDA), Bid Review, Advanced Contracts Strategy Management (ACSM) )
    • Support the Sr. Contracts Engineering Consultant and management in assessing organizational competencies and skill development plans
  • External Engagement:
    • Support planning and engagement of contractor executive management as necessary in furthering strategic relationships, development of emerging contractors, and resolution of critical issues
    • Engage as necessary with partners to educate on Company contracting processes, MI, and strategy development
    • Engage with Company Affiliate contracting professionals to share learnings
  • Organization, Systems, Processes, Procedures:
    • Support / champion the continuous improvement and incorporation of company’s lessons learned
    • Support the Sr. Contracts Engineering Consultant and management in assessing that the organization and its systems, processes, procedures are delivering the intended business results

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in contracts engineering / administration / materials management required
  • Experience in project leadership required
  • BS in Engineering required
  • Broad understanding of project execution and contracting principles, theories, and concepts
  • Expert in commercial negotiations, contractor management and contract administration
  • Willing to business travel or relocate to project sites (domestic / overseas)
  • Management experience on major project
  • Owner/Operator experience in project management roles
  • Knowledge of Company controls requirements (e.g., DOAG, Business Standards)
