Positions Available & Requirements for A.G Leventis Recruitment

A.G Leventis is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions below:

1.) Material & Planning Manager

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement, receipt, storage, and issuance of spare parts, lubricants, tyres, tools, and other maintenance consumables.
  • Develop and maintain a reliable spare parts supply chain to ensure minimal downtime of vehicles.
  • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of materials through the ERP system.
  • Implement standards for quality assurance of materials received from suppliers.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
  • Monitor inventory levels regularly and prepare reports.
  • Conduct periodic stock counts, reconciliation, and variance investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of procurement experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain sector.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of logistics operations and fleet maintenance supplies.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of procurement compliance and regulatory requirements.

 

 

2.) Learning and Development Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibility

  • Conduct training needs assessments across the group.
  • Work with line managers and stakeholders to identify skill gaps and development priorities.
  • Develop and maintain the annual training calendar.
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules.
  • Source and liaise with external trainers, vendors, and institutions where required.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions (venue, materials, communication, attendance).
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements for professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field.
  • Professional certification in Learning & Development/HR (CIPM, CIPD, SHRM, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Learning & Development.
  • Experience with digital learning platforms and training technologies is desirable.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess learning needs and design appropriate programs.

 

3.) Group Head – Quality, Health & Safety Environment (QHSE)

Location: Lagos

Job type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Group QHSE policy, manuals, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure alignment with ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and industry best practices.
  • Design strategic OHSE initiatives and drive their implementation across all operational branches.
  • Ensure that quality management systems are adhered to across all business units.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance and drive continual improvement.
  • Work With operations and fleet managers to address non- conformance issues.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety Management, or related discipline.

Professional certifications:

  • NE-BOSH ICC, ISO Lead
  • Auditor (9001/14001/45001), HSE Level 3..
  • Minimum 5—7 years’ experience in OHSE in logistics, transport etc. ferably
  • Proven track record of leading company.
